Is there LocTite on the pivot screw? Try touching the head of the screw with a soldering iron for a 4-5 seconds to see if it breaks the LocTite.I just got a Strider SMF and for some reason I cannot adjust the bull pivot
I got the spanner tool and a hex screw, despite using force the pivot felt like it is melted into one piece I just can't adjust it
anyone have same problem or can help?

Strider tends to use quite a bit of loctite on their pivots and you may need to use a soldering iron for up to several minutes to loosen the bond.
New they are a bit stiff to open but I would suggest playing with it for a week or so before you go 'adjusting' anything.
The blade was stiff and I was trying to get it a bit smoothier

I tried heating it up a bit but doesn't seem to work...
This is giving me a headache...not the best blade experience I ever had![]()
