HELP! suggestions for the a good fully serrated EDC

I have a Native serrated, as MikeH said it's really a full serrated.

Great knife, I love it. But it's a little fat. I like the Delica slightly more
because it's slightly thinner and opens a bit easier.

The Native's a great cutter, though, with a terrific blade design.

If Spyderco doesn't make something you like, how 'bout one of those Nogales-style Cold Steel knives. I've been eyeing those myself. And yeah, I know a lot of people hate Cold Steel and Lynn Thompson but I don't want to get into any of that here. Those Vaqueros get excellent reviews from everyone. They're not G10 obviously, but they're inexpensive. And I do have one CS serrated knife (a Mini Culloden) and the edge on it is really, really sharp. Excellent job there by CS.

Have you considered the Al Mar Ultralights? Unlined micarta handles, very light, very slim, AUS 8 steel. Variety of sizes available.

Eagle, four inch blade

I'm not sure if the other sizes were available fully serrated.

I have a little Air Sog that is fully serrated. That is the only fully serrated knife I own other than kitchen knives. It would be okay for an EDC, but is small for any kind of defensive use.

yeah. i really appreciate all the responses. the al mar is definetly in the running. im dissapointed, but at the same time there are so many good options. the native for ex, i held one at walmart. and in all honesty, it was one of the most solid feeling knives ive ever held.

I've seen that Al Mar recently. I wish they'd move off the AUS 8 already, especially for a premium brand. With the Spydercos, you're getting better steel, although their FRN models don't compare aesthetically with the Micarta that Al Mar uses.

Spyderco makes the Temperance fixed blade with full serrations or plain with 4" blade.

For the price very good knife and I find the kydex sheath well done.

It is very comfortable to wear, even if your sitting at the campsite or in and out of a vehicle you hardly know it's there.

Check out the Spyderco Delica 4 in full serrated. The handles are FRN, not G-10, but they also have full steel liners, so they are not flimsy.
