HELP!!! Tent recommendations for the Gathering at Uncle E's place

We love our Eureka palace...er Eureka Tetragon 1610. I picked it up for under $200 at a very popular internet store, and even though there's only 3 in our family, it makes for very comfortable living space if we camp without the camper. It's stood up to a couple of rain storms and stayed dry, so while I probably wouldn't call any camping tent a 4-seasons tent, I'd say 3-season for sure.

Best deal for backpacking gear - sierratradingpost.com

Look for a 30-35% off in addition coupon and you are set.

If you just need something for car camping they have plenty of cheaper Kelty tents available there. They tend to be on the heavier side but will work just fine if you don't have to haul it. They also have a bunch of really nice bags there and you can pick yourself up a cheaper synthetic for around $50 or less with a coupon. As for your sleeping pad, thermarest ridge rests are cheap foam options. Also, Walmart sells a blue foam pad for around $6 that many swear by. For more comfort, you can look around for a thermarest.

All you really need is some sil-nylon to lay on top of the pavilion's deck. Just ask Moose.

This is what I would recommend also.
The 35% off coupons bring the prices down.

Good stuff.

Lots of close outs and clearance too.
Check 'em daily when you're looking, changes up quick.

I've used them a couple times (Kelty backpack and sleeping bag)
Both were $30 - $40 cheaper than anywhere else for the same stuff.
Free shipping over $50 too.

40deg bags?
wow.

I have a 20deg bag. No wonder I always sweat like a bastard when camping.
The last time I tried to camp it was in fact 20 degrees. Pitched the gear in the backyard to re-cert everything and see if I could go camp-hunting. Decided YES, I could *survive* the night, but NO, that wasn't my idea of a good time.
Shoulda tried it this year...

I have a military sleep system that I've used everywhere from the deserts of Kuwait/Iraq to the Sierra Nevada. Love that kit, even got my gf one last year for Valentine's day. I also have a Sierra Designs Wild Bill 20° bag that is nice. For a tent I have a Hennessey hammock and an REI half dome. Great two person tent.

This pretty much hits the nail on the head. I've bought 80% of my gear there over the years.

Ok I ordered a Kelty Trail Dome 6 and 2 Alps Outdoorz canvas shell 15 degree sleeping bags that can zip together
I am pretty stoked, getting a Coleman queen size air mattress and cot that's made for the air mattress.

All together its gonna be 450 for a good tent 2 good sleeping bags aaand the camping air mattress with a cot for it too.
Feel like i got away with something.
