He doesn't have the DD214, only a highly sanitized bit of info he got under the FOIA.

Yeah, that's not going to cover a lot. Even a full DD214 can have a lot of information omitted from a service career if the service person isn't diligent about keeping their records up to date. My first one had a bunch of info missing and when I asked about it was told that I was responsible for getting pertinent items entered on my record. Who knew? I was more interested in finding the bar than the personnel department back then. On my second enlistment I amended everything and got a complete record. And it still doesn't mean much but will make an interesting obit.
 
If this guy's in a position to be around kids, I'd avoid doing anything rash, the newspaper might not be the right call. This guy sounds like he might have a couple of screws loose and you don't know what he might do. Unless he owns the school, someone is his boss, find them and report the issue first.

Mewolf, this guy's different. He's already been caught and confessed on a public forum, howbeit one most people don't know exists. This time, he needs to be widely and publicly branded as a liar. Newpaper, TV, etc. He needs to be squashed like a miserable bug.
 
Don Shipley is relentless in exposing frauds and is back to his false claims in spite being outed in the past. News and other mainstream media want the sensational story. Yes they should run the story and alert the public, but I don't think they(media) has much interest for the good of the people, or Vets stolen valor. Shipley airs these frauds on Youtube, facebook , etc... social media.
I agree, as wide spread as possible.
