Help Us!!!

Hi roadrunner!
hhmmmm...I'm not sure common sence prevail in this country...Today the minister proposed another crazy law:" If you drive too fast or have unapropriate driving the police can have the right to take your car"!!! I mean...I know that driving like a crazy have to be punished, but it's the fact than the government take over people's property that I don't like, what is the next step?

Time to move or have a revolution buddy. To quote Shakespeare, "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark." Your government sounds like it's getting out of hand.

hehehehehe well I'm french so I will tend to start a revolution...but first it's not my country...and second even if I wanted there is only few who will follow us...There is no viking blood in Danish people...not anymore!

Heeeey Oli..!

Just a bit of viking blood left in some of us!:D Lets go get em'!

Kurt,
Yes indeed; a revolution of sorts is needed! When our prime minister gets on public TV and utters something like "we are trading a bit of freedom for security!" he is speaking directly against everything I belive in and hold dear!
I can't move - at least not for the time being - but I know this sorry excuse for a politician is not ever getting my vote!

Edited to add something I forgot!:)

Oliver and Porcupine, tonight I printed out my letters and made it to the post office before they closed :D

I sure hope our letters can make a difference. Good luck to both of you and all other knifenuts in Denmark!

Hey now,

Just because people have not openly expressed their support on this forum does not neccessarily mean we aren't writing on your behalf.

CHARGE!!

We already have that (and other) stupid law in Italy. It's enforced for high speed and racing. It's application is often arbitrary.

The worst part of European unity is that politicians and bureaucrats seem to be taking the worst laws and practices from each country and applying them wholesale.

Yes indeed and with all their horrific plans of "harmonizing the european community" our laws will soon be a collection of the worst from every country imposed on us all and by that time, the national governements will have surrendered too much of their sovereignty to the EU!
