Help w/Delta Raider Re-handle

Here is my bisected (handle) Benchmade Delta Raider. I'm planning on using buckeye burl scales with a micarta center section (flush w/tang). The factory holes are .32"+. What would be the best way to attach the scales to the tang? I'm not sure if the hole diameter is a standard size for pins, which presents a dilemma, at least for me. I'd hate to use epoxy to fill the gap if I used .25" pins. Screws would be great, but not necessarily on wood. I'm a little hesitant to flare tubing, too, because I don't want to make an irreversible mistake on the scales.

I've done plenty of re-scales on folders, but this is my first on a fixed blade. I'd appreciate any ideas/help I can get.

The best choice would be 1/4" or 5/16" Corby bolts. The excess tang hole will be filled with the epoxy.
