Yep, I followed your instructions exactly. Tip of solder iron on hex screw, 15-20 seconds. Not a budge.

I suggest you Send it back to maker.

Did you try turning both screws on either side if scales? Sometimes only one side turns.

The handle probably needs a liner under the g10 scale. Is the gap consistent all around? The maker just wants to add glue? Thats disappointing.
