Help with '57 Super Speed

The SS isn't agressive enough for me---but I get good results with a Gillette Slim adjustable---dialed up to near max----using Walmart Wilkies-----they pretty much have become my go to blade in any razor I own---Merkur Futur being the top dog.
 
One thing the OP might want to try is sticking with one exact routine for a couple of weeks. I found that switching things up in the beginning gave me all sorts of fits. Found out which soaps don't work for me or my water hardness, which blades I like, and which razors I like after slowing down and letting my face and skin become used to each one.
