I sold a ZT 0777 to a person exactly as I received it from the dealer. He received the knife and said that it should have come with a zippered case. So he ordered the case from ebay for $10 and now wants me to reimburse him for the $10. I told him I have purchased 3 ZT knives (2x 0777, 600) and none of them came with a zipper case. He wasn't satisfied with that answer and said that I should have known. I offered to refund his money + shipping if he was unhappy. He won't ship back the knife. He said I falsely advertised the knife and owe him $10. Can I get some input here. Does all ZT knives come with a zipper case?

A few clarifying points as I am the buyer of this knife.
- I don't think there's any question that the ZT 0777M390 comes with the ZT Zipper Case (though not all ZT models do) - here's one of many examples of sales posts which support the notion:

For me to ship back the roughly $500.00 knife insured would cost more than the $10.00 I'm paying to get the zipper case which should have been included in the package.
- The seller offered to pay what he paid for shipping to return the knife. Priority shipping for the knife is $5.80 with $50.00 of complementary insurance. I've tried explaining that to properly insure the knife, it would cost more than $5.80.
In the end, what we're talking about is $3.20 (the difference between the $10.00 I'd like him to refund me, and the $5.80 in return shipping he's willing to pay)....way more hassle here than necessary. This seems like an easy decision for the seller.

No, since he conveniently erased the ad (which wasn't from this site) after the deal was done. Just keep in mind from his original post he's not suggesting that he clearly stated that the knife came without the zipper case. He simply made no mention of it, only that it was virtually NIB with all accessories.
Sorry but not all the zt 0777 m390's came with pouches, i don't know why that is but i sold one nib and it did not have the pouch, buyer was concerned at first but then also realized that they ALL do not come with the pouch.

Interesting. I'd say some folks out there (perhaps dealers included) are hanging on to the case. Maybe others who have purchased the knife are OK with that, but I'm not.

I just bought one and no it did not come with a pouch and it was direct from a dealer. I got a 0600 from New Graham, as well and no pouch. What they did come in was, a bubble wrap pouch.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Why would ZT sell some with and some without the cases? That's a recipe for customer dissatisfaction. More likely, some dealers/distributes aren't passing them along. But the 0777M390 IS supposed to come with the zipper case.

If OP's ad did not say pouch included, and some do not come with pouches, then OP is in the right, IMO.
