Hi guys,

I'm new to this website so i'm not really sure what to put here, but my granddad who fought in WW2 has a Swiss army knife that he gave to me a long time ago, trouble is I have no idea what it is or where it's from and I've been looking for a long time now, sorry if this isn't the correct place to post it but please tell me if i need to move it :)

I included some pictures I took:

It's a Chinese knockoff of a Swiss Army knife. They've been around for decades, and are almost as prevalent as the real thing.
It looks like it served someone well over the years.

Do be careful with the steel on those fake models, if you happen to use one of the tools and it snaps, be careful not to hurt yourself.
I would suggest perhaps purchasing a legitimate Victorinox model. Their warranty is stellar to say the least, and built with amazing quality control for the money.

If you'd like a model similar to the one shown, look up " Victorinox Super Tinker" or "Victorinox Climber"

SAKWIKI is a great website to learn more about Swiss Army Knives and their models offered.
Here's the link to the SuperTinker Model for example.
