Howdy All!

I'm new to the forum and I like what I see!! I was wondering if anyone could help me to identify a belt axe? It has a pole type head that is more resembeling a Hawk rather than a hatchet, it has a tapered eye style handle
and apears to be hand forged, it has a makers Mark that is a "P" over a Crown,
with the number "600" under the Crown. any help dating this or who might have made it would be greaaaaaaaaaaaaat :>)
