Help with choosing...

My fiance wants to get me a folder that she knows I'll love, and has told me to choose 3 or 4 options for her to pick from in the 250-350 dollar range. I've got a couple ideas but I was thinking you guys might have some good ones too.
I typically like a larger knife, from the 3.5-4" range but I am open to maybe down to 3 inches depending on the knife... any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you in advance
David

How about a custom traditional to take out on dinners and events with her?
She might even realize compliment that you were thinking of her when you made your choice.

what do you normally use it for?
do you like flippers are not?

Spyderco and ZT are my goto's.

Well I'm a commercial fisherman, so usually my higher end knives are just regular edc use, open packages, cut twine, tags off things etc.
I have a manix 2 xl, an Emerson cqc 8, and a few other knives I like for harder use.
I mostly want something that's just cool to look at and play with with light use.

I would still look for a custom traditional. Maybe a custom Esnyx cap lifter, or something of the like.

If you like to flip your knives open and shut, then I would take a look for a ZT 562 or 452.

If you're into flippers, the high end Chinese brands (Rike, Reate, We) have a lot of 3.5-3.75" titanium framelocks, some of which are pretty cool looking (depending on your taste). Zero Tolerance also has a number of these. The Spyderco Magnitude is also in this category, and might be the dressiest of these.

Im not really into traditional knives at the moment and while I do like those ZTs and they're both in my wishlist on various online blade shops I'm looking for something in the 300 dollar range that's not as common as a ZT... I can pretty much pick one up whenever I want to...

The WE 601g is one of the knives I have in mind for one option... I haven't looked at Rike, or Reate really I'll have to check them out.
Thanks

I think the WE 608 series is one of the coolest looking knives they have. Too big for me, but it's in your range.

How about a Guardian Tactical Helix or Deltrix combat folder? Also take a look at the Lion Steel TM1.

Also, don't forget about the 450zdp and the 452blu in m390.
Those sprints can still be found within your price range, but who knows for how long.

Have you considered a used knife? maybe a Chris Reeve sebby you could pick up a nice one for $350 and get a lot of bang for your buck. I also like the WE 606 although I have never handled one they have great reviews.

I have always wanted one...
But I haven't quite worked up to that price yet. Maybe a used one would be a good idea...
I've never handled any WE, and I do like the 606, but not in tanto... seems not many others do either as all the coloration options I like are only available in the tanto version...

Spyderco Ti-Military
Maxace Red Queen.
Wilson Tactical RRX
Wilson Tactical/Hogue star-light radius.
District Knives Apollo.
Protech manual skull TR-4 (limited, 500 made)
Combative Edge G1
Southern Grind Bad Monkey

A lot of great knives in that range to choose from, be sure to tell us what she surprised you with!
