I will include these on my list, especially Busse Combat, simply because it sounds kool!Carothers Performance Knives from Nathan the Machinist are made in the USA. Nathan has a subforum on bladeforums and has won some impressive cutting contests. His CPM3V Delta 3 heat treat is highly regarded. Pic is FK2 (field knife 2), 4.6" blade, burlap micarta, nice factory sheath, a step above the Emerson IMO. Hard to find but not impossible.

Another good made in the USA fixed blade brand with a subforum on bladeforums is Busse Combat. A little easier to find, decent assortment on their website. Their Infi steel takes a good edge and is nuclear tough. Game Warden 2 about 4" blade, nice feel in hand, unbeatable warranty. Many styles / sizes / finishes available.
