Hello,
I have been looking high and low for a sheath that will do what I need it to. Im hoping this is the right place. I need some recommendations or offers.
I am looking for someone that is familiar with the Malkoff MD2 flashlights to build either a leather or kydex sheath that will hold the light bezel down / button up and will fit on a duty belt (which I believe is 2.25, standard size). I have a feeling that kydex is a better option only because of the requirements. Even leather would match the belt and the rest of the goodies.
It doesnt need any drop from belt level but should be as narrow and low profile has possible, think rivets. The width is important because I dont have much room to stash it. If kydex is used with rivets or screws it would be good to put them to one side, the right side. In other words if you look at the sheath the rivets are on the right, light on the left because this will be mounted on the right side of the body and in front of a plastic holster.
I dont know much about mounting options; sheath to belt. But Tek-Lok is not needed but if it makes it easier than okay.
Im open to ideas and comment.
Post or PM.
Thank you,
Nick.
