Help with ID

Oh yeah, I would never pay that. Not when there are $5 Norlunds out there. I may have to wait to find a specific thing, but the finding makes me happy.

Still waiting on a gransfors bruks to rear its head. My local antique shop (aka my axe store) has sold them for...well...damn cheap. Like, 15 dollars cheap.

Just joined the forum but have been lurking for a while. Not new to axes by any means....I have been hanging handles since I was in my teens.

I've had this for a few years and just never got around to it. Can from an estate sale for cheap with a dried out but useable handle. The handle is very slender, straight, and only 24" long. Head has no marks that I can find, but the poll is pretty beat up. Weighs in at 1 1/8 lbs. The head has (had) remnants of yellow paint on it which appears to be original.

It reminds me of a Norland Tomahawk, except for the lugs. Any guesses?

When I first saw it, I thought it was a Kentucky Belt pattern or a British Belt pattern head. It would be nice to see some more photos.
