Help with Kabar with wood handle?

A little over one day to go and the bid is over $400. This sort of thing shouldn't happen.

This is troubling. I am so glad I spent some time over at usmilitariaforum, because it was there that I learned to distinguish between WWII Ka-Bars and post 1975/76 Ka-Bars. There are disreputable sellers out there.

I have written the seller twice.

This fake was sold for $511, but it seems buyer found out it was a fake.

The seller claims a refund is coming and that he still has the knife.

But that could be more of the same BS.

I am very interested in what TheBay says or does.

This seller shows a clean history, but it's been posted that it's this seller's third Bay account,

...and we know that anybody with a clean rep doesn't jump in with a different username/account.
