Here's a Pendray knife I used to own...purchased from Al at least 20 years ago or more.
Al was a farrier, and was famous for his "wootz" knives and mokume.

I thought this looked familiar.

It just helped transplant a 2 acres field of squash.

I have tried my best to use it the way you mentioned Al intended it to be used as a working knife!

I know this thread is over a year old, but since it's been bumped...

I found another knife with the same marking. I don't know who made it, but maybe someone will recognize it.



Initials "HTK" on the opposite side.
