Help with Mossberg 590

I can't help because i would tell you to return it and by a benelli or something better like i did. I bought a mossberg 500 with 3 different barrels, only one of the barrels fit but the threading was messed up, and the threading on the mag tube cap was actually different the the mag tube so it wouldn't fit properly. mossberg sucks imo

Different strokes for different folks
the sling mount was a swivel under the Punisher decal on the stocks bottom (see in the pic where I filled it in). The swivel was just a little screw, the other is a big plate held together with a big bolt. I don't plan on repelling with the shotgun, but any real weight and the screw in (this stock is plastic, lots are wood) would pull out.
When carrying the shotgun in a 1 point sling config like this

it just works better for me lower on the gun

Also with the length on the shotgun the climbers carry works better for me
