Well I really have enjoyed my Spyderco SC-109BKP over the last month or so. Cool little knife. That was until I ran into a design flaw.
A couple of days ago the tip broke off while I was carving a piece of hardwood. I was using the tip as needed more control. I was using some solid pressure, but nothing out of the ordinary. Certainly nothing that should have snapped the steel. The tip broke at a angle as you can see from the pictures. Where and how it broke lead me to believe that the tip of the knife was faulty to begin with, but I not sure. Are the laser cut spiderweb designs a flawed design?
Can I send it in for a replacement, or am I out of luck?
Thanks
