Help with my first CRK recommendation!

That's easy. Given your environment, get the small Insingo or regular drop point. I use my knives daily for small and big jobs. Rarely, do I feel under gunned with the small Sebenza.

Great information to know. I first thought that the small Seb would be too small but it sounds like it holds its own!

I've been very happy with the small, but I've always preferred the 3"-ish size for daily tasks. I did try carrying my 4" Benchmade AFCK and Stryker for a week just to make sure, and it just reminded me of why I so rarely carry those knives. I have average-sized hands, and usually hold the knife across my palm instead of in a fist.

With the Insingo most of my cutting is done with the tip, so the shorter blade actually makes it more effective. If I was cutting rope, of course, my experience would be different.

dinokay's comparison photo is very useful, but check this thread as well: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...s-Comparing-the-Small-Sebenza-Mnandi-Show-em-!

Seeing the small Sebenza next to a Mnandi makes it look like a brute.

Good luck with your choice!
