Help with my new bandsaw

I just bought a new 4-1/2" small folding bandsaw from Princess Auto the other day. It's the Power Fist brand. I just tried it out today, but for some reason the blade keeps popping off every time I go to use it. I bought an Olsen Bi-metal blade which was a $30 dollar blade, but wanted to practice on the blade the machine came with first. Is there something I may be doing wrong?

What speed should I use for it, there a 3 different speeds? How tight should the blade tension be? Unfortunately it was a floor model and the last one they had, so they didn't have a manual with it. You're help would be most appreciated. Thanks, Randy.

Don't know what sppeds the three are but try the slowest and crank the blade tensioning as tight as you can get it. This normally solves the blade coming off problem. I have heard some people actually putting a wrench to the tightning knob....thats tight.
