Help with neck knife/tool idea

Seeking some thoughts/ideas help for making a knife I live near Atlanta GA atm but I have no cash to start making a knife since I haven't worked in 4 years and have been sick the entire time (lots of health issues) but I'd like to get this idea out of my head and possibly turn it into a great neck knife so if anyone knows any makers around Atlanta area , that are nice and would like to help me that would be awesome.

I don't but I know that you will need to eventually save up for a Dremel or drill press and buy steel cut it out using the drill press I think look that part up lol and then buy a belt grinder to grind the edge which is the easiest part but what I' m saying is your gonna have to get money maybe ask for money you can work at home on a computer like customer support but you just need money for those things steel will vary prices but your preference but to make sure just look up knife making process on youtube I have a friend his name is brad zinker he makes custom and I've talked to tuff thumbs very nice so just youtube it man I support you hope you make it
 
ty for the info , at first I'd like to try and find someone near me to help make the knife first or to get close to making it and i know i want to make it out of D2 and a limited number out of Damasteel.
