Help with paid membership

My paid membership has expired, and I am trying to renew it, but the system won't accept my credit card payment. I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong, and would appreciate some help.

Make sure you are using the exact same address as on your credit card statement.

I am certain that I am. I have had some difficult life changing circumstances, and I am trying to use a card that is not mine. (YES he knows, and has been reimbursed!) Different address than me, same zip code. I suspect this might be the problem?

You need to enter the billing address as it is on file with the bank for the person that owns the card. Your address migt not matter in this regrd.

Not sure just what I did different, but it FINALLY worked! Thanks for the suggestions.
