Help with polishing, please.

I'd like to hand-polish a bead blasted blade of aus-6. Anyone have any good advice as far as supplies, technique, grit of sandpaper, etc. I don't have any power equipment besides a cordless drill. Thanks a lot, guys.
 
I'd start with 400 grit sandpaper, then go to 600 grit. Then Metal-Glo on a Flitz felt pad. It's easier than you might think, just rub it with the sandpaper till it won't do any more, then polish till it won't do anything else.
 
Thanks! :D I've got flitz metal polish, will that do? Do I want to go up to like, 1200 grit paper? Does 1SKS sell those flitz pads?
