• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Help with posting links for pictures.

You are a Gold Member, you have the privilege to directly post your photos, no link needed.

However, if you wish to use a hosting service, just follow the instructions in the first 2 posts in this thread.

Sounds like a user issue, rather than a system issue. Let me get to my desktop to confirm (I like imgur; but dislike the app...so, since they shut down their mobile support, I can't/won't use imgur on my phone)

The code itself looks like this:
Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/52gmVIw.jpg[/img]
Copy the one that looks like that from the hosting site. People don't want to follow links...links suck.

Okay, now I'm curious...You were doing just fine with imgur yesterday, from the look of the ads you posted.
Did you click the [] and shut off the code thingie?
*edited* Nope - I just shut mine off, and could still post images the same way

For some reason I had the same problem a week ago. I pressed on the 3 vertical dots next to the counter clockwise icon. Then pressed the [ ] icon and it was back to normal.
Thank you. I did that and it work.

Update:
I click on the icon and it when back to normal, but it only shows the link and not the picture.

Update:
Problem fixed. Instead of using the icon that looks like a chain, you have to click at the 3 vertical dots and use the icon that looks like a picture.

Or, you can skip that step by copy/pasting the BB Code directly into the post. Imgur provides it to make things easy... Even says (in parentheses) that it's the one to use for forums. Admittedly, I don't know how to access that code in the app (because I disliked the app and uninstalled it almost immediately); but I managed to find it on my phone before they stopped supporting mobile access, and I'm leaning right on the wall of computer illiteracy.
Of course, that's just the approach that I found fastest/easiest - the other way works; and if you find it faster/easier for you, run with it
