help with sharpening sog seal pup!!

ok i been tring to sharpen it witha diamond stone and a whet stone, stil is as dull as before i tried( i know how to sharpen knives , but its sumthing about the steel:grumpy:

maybe i should buy a spyderco sharpmaker. the seal pup is a great knife but my rusty carbon steel 40$ spec plus knife is 50000x sharper -.-

I just sharpened two days ago my seal pup with regular (not diamond) lansky system. Had to do it after my son played with the knife in the yard. I can shave with it now. Just make sure to use 25 deg. angle.

if i cant get my pup sharp ill might ditch it and get a kbar =/

I think the original edge leaves a bit to be desired - it may take a bit of time to get it profiled right.

I use a Lansky Pro on my seal pup... gets it scary sharp.
