Help with stainless Damascus selection? -> Arrived!

I am placing an order with Heather for a custom large Sebenza 21 Left-hand with a Stainless Damascus blade, and although I can use the search and find lots of pictures of Sebenzas with a Damascus blade, I rarely ever see the poster indicating "which" Damascus he/she selected.

Can I please get some assistance/help with pictures "and" type of Stainless Damascus so that I can finalize my order to Heather? I am trying to decide between Raindrop, Ladder or Spirograph.

Thanks much,
Will

Edit: For example, what Damascus are these?:

I could post a lot more - but none say what Damascus was used ...

I persoanly like the raindrop or lader damascus on the Sebs.
I saw a raindrop Seb posted in one of the pic threads here that had some of the best looking damascus iv ever seen.

Sure, here are some pictures of my Small Regular Sebenza with raindrop SS damascus (the coolest IMHO ;)

Almost there, now I just need a picture of Stainless Ladder and Stainless Spirograph ;)

By the way, that raindrop is indeed beautiful!

Sorry to sound like I'm hijacking this thread, but I've always wanted to know who actually uses their Damascus Sebs? What is the steel like and how does it's finish wear?

I only ask because I'm interested in one and want to know that it won't just be a futile EDC choice if I gave to worry about just completely ruining it.

Thanks

Thank you guys very much for posting the pictures and type. Heather can't finalize my order until I decide, so now I need to make the hard decision of picking between ladder and raindrop - both are unique and awesome in their own way ;)

Anyone have a shot of their well used damascus?? All I see here is shots of the prestine safe queen damascus.

What's this "well used" and "user" everybody keeps going on about???:confused:

;)
My user knives are Fallknivens, I don't use any of my damascus blades.

Kind regards,

Jos

I like that scrimmed mammoth mnandi on the top. Being from the Pac NW I always appreicated that style of Native American art (totem poles).

Very nice..............:D

I still want to see some used damascus though. You mean that there isnt anyone else as foolish as me that has the desire to acutally use some damascus?

My order is finalized - I went with the ladder stainless damascus.

And for the record, this will be an EDC blade that will see actual daily use. I don't own "anything" that is a shelf queen. My left-handed, year 2001 BG-42 small Sebenza Classic is well worn and still works fantastic :D

Thanks again for the help on the pictures - much appreciated

Regarding 'user' damascus. Most of the CRK line up use Devin Thomas Stainless damascus. I have used that damascus on another blade (non Sebenza) I used to own. I can tell you it does stand up very well and IMO holds an edge as well as any S30V or CMP154 I have ever used.

Only draw back I can remember is if you scratch up the blade it can not be refurbed if that is a concern. That is because of the multiple layers of steel used in the process.

I do use my 'queens' but typically cutting fruit or something relatively harmless to the blade.

All I can say is buy one with damascus and use it. Aftermarket value is usually pretty good.
