I've tried everything I can to get the screw out of the zt 0808 pocket clip to remove it and it ended up stripping out. i dont have access to a drill or dremel and feel like ive tried everything I can to get it out with no luck. any suggestions?

Send it back to zt customer service, it will be gone for a short while but no chance of a screw-up and it will come back with new screws!

Make sure it isn't the tool that is stripped, mediocre quality torx tools easily strip. If it is the screws, ZT will replace without a hassle - just drop them a line on their support form.

I would HIGHLY recommend sending it in. I know its not what you want to hear but if you admittedly dont posses the proper tools for such a task Im afraid improvising may lead to less than desirable results. The screw may have been loctited. In that event you would want to apply a soldering iron to the screw head to loosen its grip. But if you cant get a purchase with a tool it would be for not. Next time though you may want to try it. 20 seconds with a 25-30 watt iron and most screws are a piece of cake.

With the other screw removed, pull up gently on the pocket clip and use that leverage to try breaking the stubborn screw free. Once it is no longer stuck you may be able to use the torx driver to get it the rest of the way or grab the head with a set of needle nosed pliers and turn it that way.
Be very careful if you care about scratches in the finish though.

I was going to say drill it out. But with no drill I'd send our back to the factory. Possible fee involved. Contact ZT first.

Ive read that you can put one side to rubber band flat against a stripped screw and it will provide enough grip to unscrew it. Havent tried it. Worth a shot.
