I am completely new to this type of knife. I've seen pictures of originals and some of Cold Steel's offerings. I was at my favorite custom knifesmith's shop the other day (Dave Beck) and he had 2 kukuries (I think I just butchered the spelling!) sitting on his bench in roughed out form. He said he was curious about the design and decided to make a couple just for fun. Needless to say I was impressed! Where can I get one of these knives? Any online catalogs? What ae the price ranges? Where are they made? What tpe of steel are they made from? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
