Helped my Brother make his first.

My brother came over a few times the last couple weeks and the fruits of his labor are his first knife and first kydex sheath. I think it turned out very nice. He used one of my patterns but we shortened the blade just a bit. He is hoping to use it to skin a bear.

Unless you mean the glossy wood that it is sitting on. In which case that is AZ desert ironwood.
