I say this to myself before I go out the door and it helps:

keys, money, phone
shades, shank, sh@t

The last one is whatever else I need to have on me that day which is all usually contained in my go bag. Almost always have the CS Recon Tanto in the bag and a folder in my pocket.

What do y’all do to help assure your preparedness?

These days , mostly just stay on my own land . Just carry what I need for the day's chores . :)

 Going out to shop , gotta social distance and wear my N95 . Not touch face at all . Not much fun . Only go out for necessities about every two weeks . :(

I keep all my daily stuff on a little table by the door. Never forget anything. The only "mantra" I've ever remembered is "Carb heat, throttle, flaps."

Wallet, keys, cell phone, e-cig, flashlight, ink pen, bag, watch.

That’s every time I’m about to leave. It makes me feel crazy. After I go through the checklist, I have to check for my inspection mirror, knife, and notebook. They’re not verbally on the list for some reason.

I just feel the pockets in an arc wallet back left, knife in left front (either clip or in some pouch/sheath), cell same left front, keys and glasses case in front right. If my pants do not sag or I do not have to adjust my belt, I forgot something. :D
