Ran across a possible motor for a 2x72 build on the cheap its a newer import motor im sure but for a starter motor under 80.00 shipped it was hard to pass up

MOTOR : Hemco. 1.5 hp 1800 rpm 230/460v 3phase 145t Tefc frame

Will be matching to a 3 ph derated vfd. (Freebee) 220v in allowing the vfd to converet to 3 phase for control
Allen Bradley PowerFlex 4 AC Drives

Just want to make sure I'm on the right track
Will be welding and. 2x frame with a platen eventually stepped up to larger wheel and small wheel set up
a couple tool rests etc
have access to full machine shop with mig , tig and materials needed as well as powder coating for final finish

going to try and mount it as a vertical with a flip horizontal

still hunting out track wheel idler wheel and platen support wheels
im not a pro just a hobbiest and this will be a upgrade from a couple 1x30's

Thanks in advance. For the help and insight

Pruf reeding might be a god thong.

The motor you listed would be a good grinder motor.
