I hear a lot about knives that are good at cutting the hanging rope,but that time of year is coming up and we`ve got a lot of plants to drop in a hurry.Anybody recommend a good machete for chopping pot plants quick?

It`s gotta be cheap in case I have to loose it fast,if you know what I mean.Also easy to sharpen stoned is a plus.What about these pipe tomahawks?We need big bowls!!

I apologize for some of my less enlightened fellow forumites. Anybody who has ever seen somebody Drunk can tell you who the real dope is. Look at Becker Knife & Tool by Camillus. They recently introduced a stout machete type knife that would likely work well.
 
Are we now arguing the merits of cannabis abuse over alcohol abuse ?

The idea that acceptance of the growing, use and sale of illegal drugs is a prerequisite of enlightenment just flies all over me! By the way, cheesehead, I don't like a damn drunk either! But, I'll tell you this... If I were to catch a person selling that crap to my little boy... he/she wouldn't have need of a cutting tool!

All you knife-loving, pot-haters are hypocritical. Some say pot is bad, some say guns are bad, some say knives are bad.(really, they do) So who knows who is correct??

Pot is illegal, but if the feds, and other closed-minded guys like SOME of the posters in this string have their way, so to shall be guns, and then many knives too.

I know I would rather be attacked with a pot plant than a knife. In fact the pot guy would probably never ever stab anyone. But I bet alot of you other guys would love the chance to whip out your "illegally" carried blades and become a hero.

Close you bad attitude and open your mind. Do I smoke pot.....no, but if I did I wouldn't be hurting you. (and don't give me that driving while stoned argument. That's BS) But how many of you pot haters have driven drunk ?????? I bet a lot of you have. Be honest !!!!!

So take that sharp knife and whittle away your crusty old attitude about pot. Alcohol kills/injures 100 times more persons and their lives/families than pot does. So why aren't all the drunkardly politicians in jail???? (soveriegn immunity I guess)

Liberty is the call. You carry a knife, let Bud grow/smoke his pot, let me speak my mind, let the federal goverment defend our borders and nothing more.

Bud, use some damned curved pruners. They are still legal to carry....for now.

To answer buds question:

I think you will find that the DEA agents that raid you place soon, will be carrying, RTAK's or RCM's, Striders, BK&T Machette, Busse Basic 9 and many more. you should have more than enough time to talk to them about which blade has worked best for them when they cut down your field.

I can't agree with you more. I am a moderate republican, but why this old-school, Rush Limbaugh attitude on pot? Alcohol has destroyed more families than all other substances combined. Why the hypocrisy?

But we have to keep in mind this poster just wanted to open a can of worms and stand back and smile. I'm sure he's smiling now.
 
Personally I dont mind it myself as long as it's kept in the home...I for that matter would be HARD pressed to find one of my friends thats wasent a everyday smoker or used of alot harder drugs..Ya wanna set home and get baked thats fine,ya wanna go on a road trip while stoned or rolling thats NOT fine..

Whats also not smart is to post about harvesting a crop while your IP is easily traced..

Baddog-Try bumbling onto Bud's field and I'll bet you a new knife he would do more than stab you. The gun/knife/drug-of-your-choice debate is moot. The right to bear arms is provided by constitutional ammendment. Not so for drugs. The fight to keep our arms is fundamental to our freedom, and the protection of our families from the lawless. Right or wrong, pot is illegal,and as long as it is those of you that advocate it's use are on the other side of the line. PERIOD!
 
The bottom line is that pot is illegal, guns, knives and alchohol are not.

I could argue that many of the people who want to take away my guns and knives are the same who would argue pot should be legal, so I think you have an identity crisis going on.

I also take issue with you saying that because someone is against legalized pot that we are somehow on the Rush Limbaugh bandwagon, Rush has been on the air about 13 years and there were just as many people against pot before that if not more.

Do we bring up Jerry Garcia or some other NORML freak every time the pot arguement comes up? If you want to make a valid argument do it on merit, but I think if the pot movement had enough arguments based on merit, pot would be legal by now would'nt it?

Look how upset some of you rational adults are getting over this little troll-who was just having a little fun.
That anyone would defend drugs is sickening to me-and yes I'll lump them all together, because children don't know the difference. They're not your right, not your privilege. They're part of the decay of this nation, and its people.

Talk about freedom, and defend your idiotic choices all you want. Come to my neighborhood, tell my family it's ok to do drugs, maybe sell them a little, and you'll be the one that's planted.

I favor a mandatory death penalty for drug dealers, and personally think I should be allowed to execute them on the spot wherever I see one. Now that would be freedom.
 
OH WOW!!!!!Gee,you ask a simple question...can we stay on topic?Are all machetes created equal?Surely there are expensive knives out there that will do a fine job,but ol` Bud is trying to keep the price of the Chronic Bomb down so all the boys and girls can savor Nature`s Bounty,and not have to turn into booze soaked pill popping Ditto Heads! The only Rush we want is an herbal one.

BTW,in this age of Fascist property confiscation ,the smart growers use public land-thats the reason we gotta move quick.Personally,I`ve got plants growing all over the county.Look around...at your parks,public gardens,national forests[my favorite] and everywhere the government plants a decorative plot up to and including the townhall,library and even that strip of foliage in front of the police station!I toss my seeds everywhere!Guaranteed,there`s weed growing close to home-open your eyes!

Hey,I`d use a folder,but it would soon gum up with resin...
