The problem with many people on these boards, like yourself Owen, for whatever God-known reason, want to label everything as black and white. It's not that simple, people. Someone please explain to me, or mnblade, or baddog, why heroin, crack, cocaine is as harmful as pot? Just because they are all illegal doesn't buttress your argument, it only creates additional questions. Pot just gets stigmatized simply because it is illegal. We are still in the dark ages on this one. Ironically, I see the Supreme Court nixed medical marijuana use. That makes a lot of f****** sense.

I will add, however, I am in favor of executions for REAL drug dealers (heroin, crack). These are drugs that have a negative impact on society, much like alcohol. POT does not.

Pot USED to be legal, do you know why it was made illegal. The resons were stupid. Why is it still illegal ??? Chicken **** politicians afraid of loosing their conservative voter base.

As you can see from the posts many people feel legal pot would be okay.

One day when your guns are illegal.....I will be able to say "guns are illegal, just like pot". Would the fact it is now a law make it right???? The Stamp Act was a law too. Did that make it right ???????

I'm a Libertarian, I say legalize all drugs and use existing laws to enforce personal and property rights. I don't like Rush Linbaugh, I don't belong to NORML, My guess is Bill Clinton did smoke pot, he inhaled, got stoned and liked it. I bet ol' Hillary has smoked some pot too.

The popcorn is popping now......I like mine with butter. If you like yours plain eat it plain. If you want to smoke pot, I say you should be able to smoke pot. We have plenty of friggin DUI laws.

If you want to make a difference vote Libertarian lest we all be carrying nothing more than homemade shanks because real weapons are illegal.

There are so many ways I can think of to respond to this thread that all I can say is I am LMAO at the utter ridiculousness of things said on all sides in this thread. So here is my best effort at being seriously silly.

Geez people, this is the best troll thread I have seen in a long time. It depends of responses to live. Why do you troll haters always seem to encourage the nasty little critters by Feeding them?

Troll: someone who posts a simpleminded sort of question with great care and precision that is designed to raise an emotional reponse in the reader.

In this case, the troll has succeeded in getting members of this forum to start lashing out at each other. At this point I think it would be good for everyone to pass the peace pipe and chill out for a while.

Chill out, take another toke, laugh a little. This thread is hilarious. There is no reason to stress out over something like this thread. Life is too short to worry about the idiots, and they are everywhere! Just drive for 10 minutes on any public highway and you will see what I mean.

Paracelsus-You are right. Baddog-I apologise. Everyone has the right to his or her opinion. I have made several emotional responses to this thread and I wish now I'd kept my big mouth shut. One thing though, I've seen many an aquaintence forgo his kids and his wife, his job, everything, to get high or drunk. I hate it and feel it's a terrible waste. I want to remain friendly with everyone here(all differences aside).
