I agree with Steven above. It's a compact knife with a lot of embellishment included. My first thought had nothing negative to remark on, as it looks like a characteristic Jay Hendrickson package.
The photos are incredibly clear and rich in content. Just like the knife.

Your passion for the Southwests is well known around here.
What an incredible knife this is!
I go for understated, if embellished at all.
Some filework on the guard.
But that's just me,and things change.
What an incredible display of Mr. Hendrickson's multi talented creativity.
As an Art example of the Southwest Bowie,I think you hit a home run.

I debated whether to post this Bowie as it's definitely not a mainstream piece and felt that it would either be very well received or just totally trashed.
I'm glad I did, as it turned out to be a very positive and constructive thread.
Some were crazy about it, some like parts of it (the arrowhead a hit
) and those who disliked it voiced their opinions in a very positive and constructive manner. Some forunites really surprised me in liking it 
, some didn't care for it but recognized it's purpose and everyone was very open minded.
And everyone agrees Jay is very talented knifemaker and Chuck takes a heck of a photo.:thumbup:
