This grinder is older than my dad I think. The only thing I can find on this company is some references to the 1940's. I'm saving for a nice grinder, but I can pick this up for cheep and I was just wondering if I was wasting my time and money. Or maybe I could use the parts and reconfigure it???

Motor is a KC ball Bering
Belt is 3x48
It does hold water in the base.

I would get it. Looks like there is a lot of potential.

looks like it is set up for beveling glass I would guess. The belt speed may be a bit slow for knifework, but get it anyway. you could modify it for 2x48 or 2x72 and use it for finish grinding if nothing else
