I forged this from 52100 high carbon steel
Convex grind to help keep slices from sticking to the blade. This grind made it very difficult to photograph without reflections while not distortoriing the image. Did the best I could but there are still some reflectons on the blade.
The blade is finished with a cork belt to an almost mirror finish; which also make it pick up reflections in my photos
The clip on the leading edge is not sharpened but does aid in piecing with the tip
Stabilized figured cherry handle with brass and Micarta fixtures. There is a slight upward angle of the handle to help keep knuckles off the cutting board
Stabilizing fills the cells in the wood with resin which makes it dishwater safe but please never in the dishwasher; or any knife for that matter.
Overall length: 8 inches
Cutting edge: 3 inches
SOLD delivered within these United States. Because of scams here on BF please message me for shipping and payment options and for both buyer and seller safety do not use PayPal Friends and Family, Goods and Services please.
