This is a light weight chopper but I forged a slight arc in the edge so it will cut with a rocking motion too. The top is rounded for folks that like to choke up over the blade while slicing.
Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with a slight convex from the spine to the secondary edge
Stabilized spalted maple handle with brass and Micarta fixtures.
Overall length: 9 inches
Blade: 4 1/2 inches
Depth of the blade from the spine to edge is 1 1/2 inches +/_
