A deep blade with a slight belly for rocking on the cutting board, a clip on the point to assist in piercing and the handle was moved upwards a bit to help keep knuckles off the cutting board.
Forged this from 52100 high carbon steel.
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure
Convex grind with a belt finish
Stabilized figured maple handle with black Micarta spacers. Welcome in the dishwater but never in the dishwasher.
