Herb Derr Camp Bowie

This camp bowie is from my private collection and has never been used. I bought it several years ago, and it was so darned nice I put it on a nice stand and just admired it. Herb Derr is noted for his dramatic high layer damascus. His knifes typically have around 20,000 layers. The blade of this knife is 12.25 inches, and is beautifully fileworked. OAL is 17". The handle is dyed giraffe bone, and the furniture is nickel silver. The sheath, also made by Herb, is top quality leather with anaconda skin inlay.
