Here's a piece of knife history. I forgot I had this one. C. Jul. Herbertz D/A - this was the Herbertz answer to the old Colt D/A (I wonder how many of you remember that one...) from a long time ago. The firing mechanism is under the top scale. It is a lockback. Spent most of it's life in my display case (open position so as not to fatigue the spring), but I did touchup the edge as it wasn't very sharp out of the box. Now it is. The D/A action is crisp. Great build, for a relatively inexpensive knife in it's day. Lockup is solid. No blade play in the bead blast AISI420 tanto blade. Was carried a few times in the day, but never used to cut anything. I'd like to trade for a large BM Grip, used is fine by me. Let me know if you have any questions. I'll add some $ to make it work for you. Thanks.
