Here are a few of my latest vintage slippies

Those are great knives, all of them. Fantastic Camillus!

A very enjoyable browse, Duncan. I especially like the Camillus with the bail.

-- Does this mean your driftwood backdrop made the move with you? I hope so.

Thank you for taking the time to look, have a great day or night where-ever you are.
Duncan.

WOW! Duncan, those are all beautifull knives, but the first one just seems to have that special "something" to my eyes. I don't know if it's the set of the blades when closed, or that great sheepsfoot with that big 'ole nail nick, but that one just pops out to me!
Thanks for sharing your great pics of some fine lookin" knives.

Thank you everyone, its extremely satisfying collecting the older knives isnt it?...BUT... its not only that, its the people who you "meet" here that really makes our passion enjoyable.
To ~p, yes....the old piece of wood came with me. lol unfortunately you might have to put up with it for a while. :D

Thank you very much, Im not too sure whether you guys/gals know it, but your comments and especially from the people who you are-they mean a real lot! Thank you for making Traditionals just a great place!

That wood makes such a great setting for knife pictures-- neutral in color yet with interesting texture, nooks and crannies to hold knives at a slight angle to (re)direct blade reflections, etc. I've never quite recovered from your picture of your Case redbones arrayed on that backdrop.

I'm glad it came along with you. :)

A true, fine collection Duncan. Some of the best the world of antiques has to offer.
And looking right at home on your signature backdrop!*
The cattle knife is very nice - may have been military issue. The Electric, as you may know is a New York Knife, where some of the greatest have emerged . . . . .there isn't a knife there I wouldn't be proud to own!
It's amazing what a dedicated collector can accomplish!!

*(Much better than my grotty old yellow rag!)
