These are my observations from having handled and used the GM extensively and having only seen the pics of the BS...
1) The GM has a deep groove in front of the thumb ramp. The BS has a longer but shallower groove and a swedge ahead of the thumb ramp.
2) Both have 4.5" blades @ 3/16" thick.
3) The GM has an asymmetrical grind. The BS has a symmetrical nearly "zero" edge.
4) Most GMs have a black crinkle coat. The BS has a jungle green coat (texture unknown).
5) Neither knife has a rear "talon" hole.
