Here Are The Military Blades That Will Be Offered Tonight!!!!!

These are my observations from having handled and used the GM extensively and having only seen the pics of the BS...

1) The GM has a deep groove in front of the thumb ramp. The BS has a longer but shallower groove and a swedge ahead of the thumb ramp.

2) Both have 4.5" blades @ 3/16" thick.

3) The GM has an asymmetrical grind. The BS has a symmetrical nearly "zero" edge.

4) Most GMs have a black crinkle coat. The BS has a jungle green coat (texture unknown).

5) Neither knife has a rear "talon" hole.

Do the deeper grooves on the GM get used extensively? Or are they just there for looks. I'm just curious, i've never used a knife of that type and i haven't seen one in person. Feedback would be helpful.

I love my GM. Super handy. Great EDC size. The grooves make it wonderful to handle in almost any configuration. I can't wait for my new people friendly sheath to arrive a la David Brown. The only thing I would love is an Anorexic GM. Maybe that's why I'm so excited about the new D2 Swamp Rat...

Cheers,
BJB :D

p.s. Although Jerry, if you do offer a thin GM or Buffalo Soldier, consider it sold!
