Here Are The Pics, Specs, And Pricing For The Fusion Battle Saw!!! . . . Coming Friday, October 11, 2024 At 9:00 PM Eastern. . .

The Fusion Battle Saw (FBS) will be offered in 3 different blade finish configurations. It will also be offered in a Limited Edition with Tiger Hide Handles, hand-ground swedge, hand-applied Satin Finish, slightly thinner handles featuring a more grip-enhancing texture, as well as being marked as "1 of 300" with the Busse Custom Shop Logo.

*NUCLEAR Handle Option:*

The Nuclear Handle Option is not for the faint of heart but rather for those bacon-loving HOGs who do not fear the unknown!!!

The Nuclear option on the Fusion Battle Saw is a grab bag of sorts. You will receive a randomly selected handle from a pile of Nuclear Castoffs.
This pile of handles has many hand-laminated G10 and Micarta slabs as well as some solid colors not normally offered!
This option does not allow you to choose your handle!!!! . . . You do not get A CHOICE! You will get whatever you get by the blind luck of the draw! It is a veritable PORKpourri of oddball handle materials! The Nuclear Option will also include the Busse Custom Shop logo. The Nuclear Option Handles are available on Coated, Stonewashed, and Hand Applied Satin blades.

Nobody likes whine with their bacon, so we have implemented a "No returns/No whine clause"!
There are no returns on the Nuclear Option. . . .

So, you can either play it safe or go where only the bravest of HOGs have gone before. . . . to PORKpourri and beyond!!!!

that LE is absolutely beautiful. Wow

But… why does it say 1 of 800

Was someone drunk on the laser etching machine or is there 800 instead of 300 now?

My first thought was 800 . Then I looked at my knife, then I recalled many times of looking through beer goggles.
It looks like an 8
It's really a 3.
Hope this helps .

Ok fair enough. Looks more like a 3 in the second side pic after taking a shot of Johnny.

I love how Jerry decided to go with thinner profile flat looking handles. Kind of a throwback to standard scales.
All the details on this LE came together extremely well. Prob best release of the year imo

It really should have one more tooth right before the thumb ramp.

I'd wish to see one more tooth as with the og BS too, but I'd like to see it placed on the distal end-- there's room there on the flat imho.

Plus, I think if an extra tooth was placed near the handle it would look crammed in. Also, gotta remember this one's gonna cut on the draw stroke and in my usage with my BS the toothless glide helps the teeth bite when they hit. And when you get the groove established it really is nice to let that extra length of smooth spine guide your cut. Just my 2 cents, ymmv.

The original Battle saw is just so right in every way. When I thought the forward facing teeth would not work, I had to take the boss at his word that it would be awesome. He was right!

Hmmm....brings me back to my Rambo memories as a kid with my First Blood Edition Gil Hibben knife.....man that makes me feel old. Killer blade Boss
No worries you’re not alone , I had my Buck Master saw back and Gerber BMF saw back lol. Actually still have them 🤷‍♂️

Maybe will get a saw backed Team Gemini ??????

It actually looks different from the concept drawing. These have more of a taper to the point, which I don't like. I liked how in the concept drawing, the end of the blade had more of a full belly out till the very end.

Also, the edge is a very short / small edge. Not nice and tall like the original battle saw. Short edges are easier to damage and repair.

This is the appropriate concept drawing when comparing the LE
IMG_3588.jpeg
Also there is no edge in the concept drawing to compare.

The edge in the physical pic looks almost identical to the AFBM. Already dinged and sharpened mine once from extensive use no issues.

“It actually looks different from the concept drawing.”

Ya, it looks all 3-D… and is in color!

Conceptually, the concept drawing represents the finished product.

The proportions on this blade, inclusive of the precise positioning and size and number of teeth on the saw, are absolute perfection. The overall design elements unequivocally hold immediate legendary status. This is a masterpiece of form and function, Jerry. 🍻
