Here Are The Pics, Specs, And Pricing For The Fusion Battle Saw!!! . . . Coming Friday, October 11, 2024 At 9:00 PM Eastern. . .

Feels pretty darn good. But almost wish the scales weren't so deeply contoured, so it would be a bit fuller in my hand. Minor nit.
How much "bite" do the teeth have? The pics looked like they were chamfered a bit, especially at the corners, which I'm hoping is not the case. Because sharp cuts betterer... ;) TIA!

Yeah was surprised they weren’t sharper. That, and their orientation, makes me wonder if they’re more for show.

Thanks for the pics!

Hmm, my concern seems well-founded. Odd. Those looks like the least aggressive saw teeth we've seen on a Busse sawback. (vs. the DT-12 which were MEAN!) Darn, don't really want to take a diamond card to the LE, but might hafta... 😖

looks like the stone washing may have dulled them ?

These should pretty much feel identical to the AFBM. The LE addresses the contoured handles. If the teeth aren’t sharp maybe chalk it up as weight reduction lol

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that. My Tac Saw 7 was also not very sharp :-(

my Battle Saw should be here tomorrow and I bet they will also be less sharp.

On the stonewash, I would just sharpen the teeth and do a hand satin finish on the entire spine to choil.

That’s a good idea. Then you could throw alternating angles on the teeth: left, right straight, repeat…
