Production is telling me 3-5 weeks on the Boss Streets:)

You all know me once I know I will let everyone know:thumbup:

As of when??

This will be my first Busse knife Im so exited :)

Only bad thing is that everyone says how the knife is too fat. Is there anything that anyone could possibly say that isnt negative about this knife !?!?!

(I know bld522 likes it, will anyone else join him??)

It's a great knife, that's why everybody has one or has ordered one. If you get it and don't like it, I'm sure you will have no problem selling it.

It's just that a .17 version would be that much nicer.:D:thumbup:

Many, many people like it.

There are also many who prefer thin knives in a blade the size of the BOSS Street.

You act like no one has anything positive to say about the knife, and that's just not true. It's a gorgeous knife with a crazy comfortable handle and great lines. If it was an ugly POS, like the Sus Scrofa :barf:, no one would CARE if there was a thin version. The very fact that it's a nice knife with an ergonomic handle is exactly why we want a version that will slice better.

I'm definately going to pick one up as a gift and one for myself:D! Just waiting to see if there will be a Satin or even a choice of blade colors and/or a G10 option. As is though:thumbup:-great price for the Blk/Blk Mic up at the moment.

IDK if anyone had anything positive to say about it, I just never saw the post where someone said something like "Wow thats cool its thick enough to witstand great lateral force...."

The only thing I was seeing was "FAT BASTERD"

LOL. :)

Can someone measure the secondary grind angles on both the Boss Streets (show versions obviously) and on a Scrapper 5? From looking at them in pictures I am guessing that the grind angles are very similar. It seems if the S5 were full flat instead of saber the blades would likely be thicker overall.

It seem like some boss streets have shipped (theres a vid on youtube of one slicing paper, i think someone called jankerson or jankerson1 posted it)

jankerson or jankerson1, can you make a video review???

his name here is Ankerson, he does sweet jobs, when it comes to shapening knives and then posts videos that make us jealous. Feel free to ask around here, people will gladly give their opinions, and most of them will be positive, unless its from MastardMan, to him if its not bama clay, its wrong ;). Welcome to the obsession, and enjoy the ride.

The bama clay coating thing is nothing but a fun thing to joke around about. I'd gladly take a black coated blade if it fits my needs.

My issue with the BOSS Street is that it's too thick, too handle heavy, and has a useless elf choil. Fix any one of those issues and I wouldn't have sold my proto. Fix all three, and I'd buy several of them. Jerry has hinted that he might be doing a thinfi version eventually - if he does, you can guarantee I'll be down for at least one.

Now for the good stuff: The blade shape is perfect, the handles are awesome, and the knife looks great. I really really wanted to love the BOSS Street, because the handle ergonomics are just phenomenal.
