or since he said Merry Christmas is this going to be a Christmas ganza blade? Seems a bit early to pull the BWM down. That is defintely a must have blade for sure, just hope I get the opportunity to grab one

The Blade West version is DCBB/black micarta, 0.22" thick. I'm with you, Ken, would prefer it skinny (but you knew that :D )
 
Here's hoping that it'll be thinner than the proto.

Awesome! Did you reduce the height of the handle at the last swell? It looks more proportionate than what I recall from Blade West.
