Well, it's 6:04AM (Pacific Time), I haven't slept in about 30 hours, and I'm bored. So here's my story..It's kida long, and not that exciting, but hey..i said i was bored.

So I get my first balisong, and I am dying to get onto Clay's site...I've been stareing at mpgs for like a week while I wait for my first Jaguar to arrive(thats a whole other story). So I FINALLY get the knife and work my way back to my apartment...I get to the site, and start flying through all the things on the site...I get to the Intermediate level, Basic Twirl...and I finally nail it...then I think, let me see if I can still get the basics right...so I decide to try out the Latch Handle Start. One of the guys I live with walks in and distracts me, and I end up doing a basic opening while talking to him(very unconsciously) and realize a split second before I get cut that I started with the latch handle...and then I get it...right on my index finger, right on the first joint(in that little crease) to the BONE...so I eventually get towel on it and start applying pressure. Then I see that onestopknifeshop.com accepts paypal(where I have $200) so I figure I'll preorder a BM42.

To make a long story even longer, I now have to order a new keyboard, cause mine is covered in blood from my index finger. Anyone know where I can get a Microsoft Natural Keyboard(the original one, not the Elite or Pro)??

Any real official word on a release date for the 42's??

You can clean that keyboard off with an electronics cleaner spray available at Radio Shack. Don't get the kind that has a lubricant in it. Just hold the keboard vertical over a sink and start spraying. Let the stuff run down the sink. Don't worry about soaking the keyboard. These cleaner sprays evaporate quickly and leave no residue.

A cut to the bone is serious. You should have that looked at. If you nicked the bone, you may benefit longterm from more than just a dab of Neosporin.

BTW, cuts do heal faster with Neosporin.

I do have to assume, though, that the cut isn't to bad if you managed to type the whole story out.

Congratulations on your fine progress. Nice to have you here.
