Ok this is an old pattern that I used to make and now Im going back to it. Im still thinking about names, and im open to suggestions. the knives are 1/4" 1095 and rock solid, and I put a swedge in them to help reduce weight and it also increases penetration. they are good knives for everything from cutting rope to digging in the ground, it'll take all the abuse to throw at it. knives come with kydex sheath (not pictured) and teklok or IWB.

both are the same specs:

OAL: 10.5"
Blade: 1/4" 1095
Width: 1.5"
Edge: 5"

Price:sold

Prices include PP fee and shipping in the conus, if shipping oconus please add $10 for shipping. International orders please contact.

If you use PP please paste the below description into the comments box when you send the money, this just helps me keep everything organized.

Nice design! I'd add some jimping to the top and call it something like "fieldprac" or "practical field", or maybe even something as simple as "The outdoorsman". Hope it helps?

Very nice looking knife! May I suggest calling it the "End Trail" It looks like it will be with you through everything you can throw at it and still be there when all you've got left are the stories you tell your friends. Plus the play on words looks like it could eviscerate with the best of them.

all the best, Pete

I love digger choppers! You could start naming your knives after bodies of water, ie: creeks, streams, rivers, lakes.

I don't know man.

Wow I love that design, especially the extra thick guard. If I had this knife I would say
"Showtime!" everytime I pulled it out, so I think that's a good name

thanks for the compliments everyone. I like the bodies of water idea a lot. I think on the next ones I will be jimping the spine and also Im trying to figure our a good way to do spine serrations.

Hey Doc I agree with the outdoorsman. As a die hard bow hunter that knife would do everything you would ever need. Hope you keep making those because when I can afford one I am going to get one.Awsome design and that is coming from a former Jarhead!

Looks like it would be with someone til the end of time...maybe call it "old faithful"

Beautiful work man. Wish I had half your talent.

I will take the first knife with the short false edge. Black micarta with routered handles.

first one sold.

Hey cpurser, the ruler is make by INCRA, them make a lot o measuring tools for wood working and their stuff is fantastic. the holes and slots are for a .5mm mechanical pencil but it just use a scribe on a dykem surface and it works the same. I have a few and they are awesome. I know you can get them through wood craft, thats where I got mine.

thanks for all the feedback everyone. just so everyone knows this is the medium size for this knife. when I used to make this knife before I joined the navy I also made a model that was a 3" blade and one that had a 7" blade for a SM MED LG combo.
