Here is Richstag's Requested TP video

When you cut the newspaper it really made me think that you have a wire edge. You were hanging up slicing to the right. Then when you switched to the left it hardly cut.... if I was seeing the video right. That would allow you to pop hairs right off and slice paper at the right angle but it seems that you have a wire edge that is bent to one side.

I know I have said this before and you talked me out of it but I am pretty sure that is what I am seeing. :o

No wire edges I can tell you that. :D

It's usually me that is a fault if the knife hangs at all. ;)
 
A lot of times I use newspaper to find a small wire edge in a knife without looking at it under mag.

If it hangs up, there might still be a tiny wire edge and its back to the leather, then it glides choil to tip. Happens to everyone.

Honestly, how the hell do you have time to make so many videos? I'm lucky lately if I have time to sit on my computer for a half hour. I'm envious.

i did this just yesterday on my bwm. after working on it with the edge pro a little i took it to my dads house and used his buffing wheel with some black polishing compound, as i had recently striped it and wanted to shine it up a little, afterwards its amazing how much sharper the knife was. it went from shaving hairs with some effort to shaving off an entire 2 inch wide path of hair in on long effortless stroke down my forearm. everyone at work wondered what was up with the bald forearm.

It's called being unemployed, I can't help if the jerk offs laid me off and the other jerk offs that might be hiring won't even give me an interview. :grumpy:

Then I am a White male that's 45, we are the most discriminated against people in the US when it comes to finding a job. :rolleyes: :mad: :grumpy:

That sucks man, I know a lot of people in the same situation, it never gets easy but i'm sure you'll find something!

Nice'n' sharp!
I like to sharpen like the makers, belt grinder and buffer. But, as you can see, it's the end result that matters. :)
